Toyota Motor Turkey’s requirements

Mr. Guvenc, Global Operations Manager and Ms. Gonulsuz traveled to the Toyota factory to meet the staff and discuss the details. In the meantime, a brief factory visit was arranged.

Our solution

Having received from Toyota'a factories and departments, we served Toyota Motor Turkey by offering premium translation and localization services based on an annual contract.

In the Japanese Guidelines, Toyota’s Work Philosophy was described in detail and it was challenging to properly transfer the messages to the English language. Our senior project manager contracted a dynamic Japanese English translator (Hiroko) with a proven track record, particularly in Toyota corporate culture. We have obtained Toyota's corporate glossary. Verbatim translation would pose a risk because of cultural differences. So, Hiroko's creative writing skills played a quite positive role in localizing the Japanese guidelines into a readable English language. At the QA step, the British proofreader worked on the translated documents to verify overall quality.

Result

Our collaboration with Toyota Motor Turkey extended to almost all kinds of technical content including manuals, specifications, training materials, technical database  legal contracts etc. We also sent interpreters for on-site training at Adapazari premises.
