It was a challenge to properly complete premium-quality human translation of 600K words in XML format within 30 days. Our senior project manager contracted the dynamic translators (8) and editors (1) who could focus on this project under pressure. To increase productivity, a server-TM and muliterm were added to the project via SDL Groupshare.
Considering the risk of XML conversion problems, a configuration file was generated by an engineer that could work with SDL Studio Trados without a problem. To maintain efficient group communication, a discussion forum was put into application. Even though the turnaround time was too tight, the proofreader in charge closely monitored the performance of translators on a real-time basis, sharing the feedback to whole team members via the discussion forum.
